Bill Johnson and family purchased the Mullum Vineyard in 1990 and, in 1995, founded Tyagarah Estate Winery to produce world-class Chardonnay and Shiraz reflecting the unique features of the Northern Rivers Region.

Our first commercial wines were released in 1998.
